Quick Flush Tanks / Dewatering Tanks / Fast Flush Tanks - 500L

 

If heavy transfer of fluids is required, it is beneficial to determine the quality of the fuel as quickly as possible at the very beginning. This can be achieved by a quick flush tank (also known as a dewatering tank).

A Quick Flush Tank is a system designed to allow the operator to visually see water bubbles or contaminants very clearly when a lot of product is pumped in. Should the quality not meet the specifications, none of the product will be transferred in and everything can be safely drained.

On a smaller and more accurate scale, an Aljac sampler can also be used in conjunction. This smaller device has a glass enclosure and has an inlet to allow a water detector to be introduced.  A change in colour of the detector will determine if there is any traces of water.

Inlet/Overflow Nozzle

Standard option is ASME B16.5 DN50 150lb Flanged.

-Available with BSP or NPT threaded, TTMA, DIN, AS2129 etc Flange.

-Overflow nozzle can be omitted if desired.

-Can be modified to suit aljac sampler mounting and connections.

Vent Nozzle

- Standard option is DN50 'gooseneck' free vent with vermin cage.
- Sized to ensure tank integrity during inbreathing/outbreathing.
- Available as straight threaded or Flanged nozzle.

Outlet Nozzle

-Standard option is ASME B16.5 DN50 150LB Flanged, 90 degree bent nozzle.

-Available in DN15, DN20, DN25, DN32, DN40.

-Available with BSP OR NPT threaded, TTMA, DIN, AS2129 Etc Flange.

-Available as straight threaded or flanged nozzle.

Lid

-Standard option is gas strut supported fully hinged lid with rubber.

-Vapour seal and toggle latches for hold-down mechanism.
